The first case got a minor blemish on the top case, and then I got a free replacement from you, which is very nice. Unluckily, the replacement has some minor black blemishes on the bottom case like the first one I got though. Also, there is a scratch or crack like thing on the replacement bottom case. So, I guess it is the issue of the batch. Maybe some part of the production process leads to the issue. Wonder if it could be improved.
The level of transparency of the case is pretty nice. The case surface is smooth and edges are not scratching my palms and fingers when I type and lift it up. The case is hard enough and not too soft so I do not have to worry about that it would be bent too easily. The RGB effects look fine on the frosted surface.
Just filling out this review when I noticed the Wooting 80HE+. I am happy the frost case is finally included in the pre-assembled product so people who like the frost case but not having a screwdriver no longer need to DIY.
However, I am a bit sad since I just used the keyboard for like 30 days then I had to sent my desktop for repair on 16 Aug. Feel like just using it for a month and then the better version comes out :’), like the FR4 plate and better PCB. I will be buying the knob anyway.
