Wooting Wrist rest (80HE)
The rubber is solid with the right balance of firmness, but collects lint and moves around on a full-desk mouse pad. Having it attach to the keyboard would have been ideal.
I'd also say I probably could have gone for the 60 wrist rest as being the full keyboard length doesn't really help since you don't need wrist support for the keys on the right side and it ends up eating into mouse space.

Good to hear you like the firmness of the wrist rest. Silicone does have a natural 'sticky' surface, which is what gives it its grip, but it also means it tends to attract lint a bit more easily even though the top side does also have a 'soft-feel coating'. Fortunately, it's easy to clean with a damp cloth or by rinsing it with water.
Regarding the attachment to the keyboard, we definitely understand that feedback. It's something we've already addressed with the newer wrist rest for the 60HE v2, which features a connector bridge, and we're moving towards implementing this on future releases and upgrades where possible.
As for the size, that really comes down to personal preference. There's nothing stopping you from using a smaller wrist rest with the 80HE if that suits your setup better, or simply positioning the wrist rest more towards the left to create additional room for your mouse.

I thought the wrist rest is quite expensive for "a piece of rubber", and i still think that, but after a bit of getting used to it, i wouldn't want to miss it anymore. Feels very comfortable and natural, as if is supposed to be there. Quality feels good aswell. The only downside other than the prize it that it is quite slippery on my desk (might be different depending on the material), but its not bothering me in game, just have to readjust it every now and then

The wooting wrist rest is a comfortable addition to your wooting keyboard, that being said for 40 euros I was expecting it to have better features such as snapping it to the keyboard. If you really need a wrist rest and have lots of extra money go ahead and get this!

It's actually something we've already addressed with the newer wrist rest design that matches the 60HE v2, which comes with a connector bridge to keep the wrist rest aligned with the keyboard. This design will also be carried forward into future releases and upgrades of existing models where possible.
