Got these switches because I heard they're modeled to make a hearty clack like mahjong tiles. Being a writer/typist, I thought that'd make a good upgrade.
After hand-lubing them, I can confirm they do make a hearty clack, both tactilely and audibly. They're quieter than the stock Lekkers Wooting puts in their board, which is a plus not so much for me, but for my wife and infant daughter; not that the Lekkers are obnoxiously loud, however late-night game or writing sessions become that much quieter, while still being a joy to use.
I upgraded the springs to L70s, making they switches much stiffer. Those are good, however I am thinking of toning it down to L50 or L60s, however that's just me being picky.
A great upgrade for those with a bit more 'thunk' to their keys.
